Panel discussion – “The Impact of Junk Status on citizens in South Africa and Southern Africa”

Democracy Works Foundation in partnership with The Open Society Initiative for Southern Africa (OSISA) and Inyathelo co-hosted a panel discussion on, “The Impact of Junk Status on citizens in South Africa and Southern Africa” on 19 May in Johannesburg.

The panel consisted of Moeletsi Mbeki- political economist, Jessica Rees-Jones- Executive Director of Inyathelo, Dr Thanti Mthanti- Senior lecturer in Finance, Wits Business School, Deprose Muchena- Southern Africa Regional Director, Amnesty International and was moderated by Busi Dlamini of Democracy Works Foundation.
