Democracy Works Foundation (DWF), in partnership with the South African Union of Students (SAUS), The Johannesburg Holocaust & Genocide Centre (JHGC) and Business Leadership South Africa (BLSA) shall host an inter-generational dialogue of young and senior women in leadership. The interactive dialogue will provide an intimate opportunity for women to strategise, share insights and reflections on building greater representation of women in democratic spaces. Drawing on the theme of Heritage Month, ‘reclaiming, restoring and celebrating our living heritage’ we celebrate the linked struggles of women across generations to redefine and create a shared future that includes women as change leaders.

The dialogue will explore the intersectionality of key themes around gender and democracy, systemic oppression, and political agency. It seeks to foster and strengthen links for the exchange of ideas and provide a platform to support critical engagement and access to formal decision making structures.

This is a RSVP-only event.
