Democracy Works Foundation (DWF) invites you to its second Political Cafe.

2016 MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS – HOW DOES SOCIO-ECONOMIC TRANSFORMATION IMPACT SERVICE DELIVERY AT A MUNICIPAL LEVEL?

South Africa remains one of the most unequal societies in the world. As the municipal elections fast approach we will look at how political parties plan to address socio-economic issues at community level and assess the challenges faced by local government.

Join Nompumelelo Runji  (independent analyst and author) in conversation with Shaka Sisulu (independent socio-political commentator), Marina Mayer (economist and lecturer at Wits Business School), and Stuart Wilson (Executive Director, Socio-Economic Rights Institute of South Africa).
