Democracy Works Foundation (DWF), in partnership with the South African Union of Students (SAUS), The Johannesburg Holocaust & Genocide Centre (JHGC) and Business Leadership South Africa (BLSA) hosted an inter-generational dialogue of young and senior women in leadership. The interactive dialogue on 30 Sept 2017 provided an intimate opportunity for women to strategise, share insights and reflections on building a greater representation of women in democratic spaces.
Drawing on the theme of Heritage Month, ‘reclaiming, restoring and celebrating our living heritage’it acknowledged and celebrated the linked struggles of women across generations to redefine and create a shared future that includes women as change leaders.
