On the 23rd of September 2014 the Catholic Parliamentary Liaison Office hosted a Round Table discussion on the National Development Plan. The speakers were Mr Jeremy Cronin, Deputy Secretary-General of the South African Communist Party, and Professor William Gumede, of the University of the Witwatersrand and Chairperson of Democracy Works Foundation. Among the audience members at this focused discussion group was ACDP Member of Parliament Cheryllyn Dudley.
