Nompumelelo Runji

Nompumelelo Runji is a policy analyst, researcher, author and speaker. She has worked as a researcher and political analyst within academia and for various think tanks. Her written work spans a range of articles, commentary, and analysis in various media. She has contributed to the national and international discourse on politics, socio-economic issues and criminal justice issues with a particular focus on South Africa and Africa and is the author of the book “Democratic Opportunity: Does South Africa need electoral reform?”. She holds a BA (Hon) in Political Science and a MPhil in Multidisciplinary Human Rights from the University of Pretoria.
