On Friday 24 May 2019, at Constitutional Hill in Johannesburg Democracy Works Foundation launches it’s new Cool Politics Cafe.
DWF’s Cool Politics Cafe will offer a mix of politics and the arts and offer a platform for dialogue and debate on issues of relevance to the democracy we live in. The Cool Politics Cafe is made possible through a partnership with Brand South Africa and Bassline.
More Cafes are planned for the remainder of 2019 and we are working towards bringing the Cool Politics Cafes to the countries we work in and to other cities in South Africa.
Democracy Works Foundation believes that our Cool Politics Cafes are a useful tool towards deepening democratic culture and towards strengthening youth voices and engagement. We have organised several political cafes in the past. You can find out more about them by clicking here.
