Democracy Works Foundation believes in strong partnerships with the media. Why?
The free press is an important institution in any healthy democracy as it provides objective information to citizens so they can make well-informed decisions. Equally important is that the press provide a check on power and thereby assist in providing accountability.
By partnering with media we provide unique content that helps inform citizens on issues of development and democracy whereby we help expand and deepen the offering of these media to their users.
As a civil society organisation we intend to be as transparent as we can and through our own media and media partnerships account to as wide an audience as possible.
These partnerships help in disseminating information Democracy Works generates, whether opinions, research, analysis or project updates and reporting. Collaborations with media help to enlarge the impact and efficacy of the Foundation.
